Just started playing brass or been playing for years? Beenleigh Brass Band caters for beginners through to advanced players, and we are always keen to hear from local brass players.

Every Thursday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, excluding Christmas, Easter and public holidays.
Where
The band room at Beenleigh Aquatic Centre, 43 Alamein Street, Beenleigh QLD 4207.
Cost
There are no fees associated with rehearsals or lessons, apart from uniform purchase.
Instruments
Instruments are available for loan at all levels, depending on availability.
Senior band
The senior band is designed to cater for advanced brass musicians and senior band members. It competes in competitions and performs plenty of concerts, fundraisers and corporate events around town.
Beginners and free lessons
The Beenleigh Brass Band has noticed that, increasingly, some students have difficulties in accessing school based instrumental music programs. As a not-for-profit community organisation, the band has in its charter the role of teaching and supporting the advancement of music performance in the community.
The band offers this pro bono service to people interested in starting or continuing their, or their children’s, musical development. Our programs cater for brass instruments, with woodwind and percussion planned, so we are interested to hear from everyone wishing to take up the offer.

Come and see us
Visitors are welcome at the band room on rehearsal nights to meet the members and view the band in action. No need to book, just come along on a Thursday evening.
